This article is helpful for users who want to use the 'Cast' functionality from Android on ATS2 and ATS3 screens. Casting can be done to a TV, Chromecast device, or other Home gadgets. Please check if the target device is capable of receiving casting on its product manual.
Note: Cast functionality depends on good wireless communication between the ATS screen and the target device, therefore some minor lag or FPS (frames per second) drops might be noticed.
Establishing Cast connection:
- Power ON your ATS screen and log in to any profile - including Guest
- Power ON your TV or target screen - make sure your ATS and target screens are connected to the same network
- Access the Settings menu (cog icon on bottom left corner)
- Access Bluetooth menu
- Access Connection Preferences
- Access Cast
- The list of available devices to receive casting should be visible*. Tap the device you want to start casting to.
- Click on Start Now to start casting. NOTE: You might need to accept casting on the target device.
*If you can't find the device you are looking for, Wireless Display functionality must be enabled
-
- Tap the 3-dot icon on the top right corner
- Check the Enable wireless display checkbox
- Wait for devices list to refresh and try finding target device from list
Closing Cast connection:
- From the Cast menu, tap on the established connection
- Click on Disconnect
