This article is helpful for users who are having internet access issues after having equipment OFF/unused for an extensive period of time.
Symptoms:
- Equipment connects to Wi-Fi but shows internet access error message;
- Equipment shows Date on bottom right corner, in addition to Time;
Troubleshooting:
- Power ON your screen and login to Guest profile
- Access Settings Menu (cog icon on bottom left corner)
- Access System Settings
- Access System menu
- Access Date & time menu
- Toggle off top two sliders (making it grey)
- Set date and time accordingly
- Make sure Time zone matches to equipment's current location
- Use Return or Home button to go back to main screen and select Restart
- Once screen has restarted, access any internet content (Streaming, Games, Virtual, etc.) for testing
- Once confirmed internet access, you can access Date & Time menu again and toggle sliders ON (making it green) once again
